Are cell phones dangerous?
In our life cell phones always like our privy stuff. We need it every time and every where. Cell phones sounds like very good but it still has some disadvantage. I classify them in three different ways.
At first, cell phones will damage our health. For example, if the single is very strong and when you sleep you put the cell phone next to you every day and so on. Maybe you will have cancer, but at the other way if you’re a business man/woman is convenient to communicate with other people or your parent have some emergency to tell you they won’t worry about that they cannot find you.
Then sometimes it will have traffic when you used it. I remembered last semester there was a huge earthquake in California. After the earthquake I want to call my brother but was on traffic because lots of people are using the cell phones. In some case we have to bring the cell phone. When you go hiking you must bring it event there’s no single. In my country if the place don’t have any single and when you have any emergency, you just need to call 110 then you can talk with the police. But the most important thing is you need to have battery.
Lastly, right now internet is very convenient you can download anything you want. In my cell phone I have a lot of games. When I was in high school, I always play games during the class. But if you want to contact with other you should have a cell phone. If you like some girl you can lend her your cell phone, maybe after she will become your girlfriend.
All in all, the world is changing we don’t use the letter anymore. The best thing to communicate or contact with the people is cell phone. But do not use it too over, because it still has a lot of disadvantage.

Journal# 9

Last weekend I went to my friend’s house, because we are going to have a birthday party. In the afternoon, I went to war-mart because I want to get a piercing. My friend told me that war-mart is the cheapest and cleanest. It cost $15 dollars for one side, but $20 dollars for two sides. I was nervous at that time, because I am afraid of hurt. Then is done.
After two hours, I went to my friend’s house. We bought the beer and vodka, but we didn’t eat the dinner yet. Then we went to Korean restaurant to buy some food. The food was delicious, but is not enough for us. After that, we started the party. I drank a lot of beer so I throw out, and alcohol makes me headache, so I went to sleep. My friends are very strong, they drank almost 5am.
I was very happy, even we are not same country, but we can improve our friendship by having a party. I’d like to have another party.

journal #6

Last Friday we went to Magic Mountain with ALP students and staff. At Thursday night I can not feel sleep. I didn’t know why maybe I felt exciting. I just laid on the bed an do nothing. Finally I slept. I woke up at 8:50, I was very scared. Because we need to meet at cp-100 at 9:15. I brushed my teeth and washed my face as soon as I can. Hopefully they didn’t leave.
When I arrived, there are so many students. Then after 30 minutes the buses is coming. At that time I don’t think we have enough space, because just came 3 buses. Finally we all got on the bus. We took almost 2 hours. When we got there, I saw many roller coasters. I was very exciting. Then ALP staff told us that we have to come back at 4:30. When we arrived almost 12:00, we didn’t think we have enough time.
That’s the truth. We just waiting one roller coaster spent 2 hours. Then we just played 5 roller coaster and went back.
All in all, I need to said thank you ALP staff that made this trip for us even we didn’t play all the things in Magic Mountain. We really have a great time.

Journal #4

Yesterday was Sunday. I went to play basketball with my ALP friends and my brother. We enjoy in playing basketball. After that we went to eat dinner, but we just ate a little bit. Then we went back our dorm.

At 10 o’clock I went to work out with my roommate in the dorm. Then my brother is coming. We decided to go to eat lay night snack, so after we finish the shower we are ready to go. When we at Chapman Ave, my brother said there is a police behind us. Then the police pull us over. We didn’t know what happen. My brother said to police “what happen”. Police said “what happen? I pull you over.” He was kind of proud. Then he check my brother’s driver license. After that, he said “is there any people has been arrested.” At first we didn’t know that word, but we have American guy in our car.

After he told us that our break light is broken. Then he let us go. When we arrived at the restaurant we went to check the break light is work, so the police was lying. Thus my friend said police is pig sometimes they pull you over without any reason.

Composition Journal #3

When I was young, I didn’t celebrate my birthday. I think in my country birthday is not big holiday for us. Sometimes my parent just bought a birthday cake for me. I thought that is enough. I don’t even want a gift, because I don’t like to play toys when I was a little boy. I remember one day my mother bought a Game Boy for me, but that was not my birthday. The reason why is I got a good grade in my final exam.

The memorable birthday party was in America. My classmate which is in ALP came to my apartment and celebrates for me and one of my friends. Because our birthday is in same day. My friends bought a cake and alcohol; I was drunk, because I drink almost ten bottles, either my friend. Then after 10 minutes I threw out, my dinner, cookies, and alcohol. After that I felt better. That was a nice birthday party I have ever been. I was so happy.

In our country we have a traditional superstation. When u got 9, 19, 29, 39 so on, you can’t celebrate because you are going to the other number. If you celebrate you may not pass that age, but that’s our superstation just for reference.

Composition Journal

I didnt watch the super bowl game because I dont have any cable. My favorite commercial is from sport such as adidas and NIKE. They always spend a lot of money to get a very vision shock. They usually invite NBA famous star like Kobe Bryant, Nash, LBJ etc so they have to paid a lot. There is a very famous commercial from NIKE. Is talking about something you want to do but you fear, so at the end they creat a motto called "Just do it !" I like that.
